(08:14) MONTEREY COUNTY – A Soledad man has pleaded guilty to tax and workers’ compensation insurance fraud. Between 2012 and 2015, 52-year-old Osama Zawideh failed to file payroll tax returns and withheld worker’s compensation insurance from employees while managing Gabilan Pizza. Zawideh faces nearly 7 years in prison and will also be placed on felony probation. He may also be required to pay $5,000 restitution . (S.G.)
