March 15, 2016: Armed Robbery at Watsonville Shell Gas Station

(07:16) WATSONVILLE – Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Watsonville Monday night. The incident took place at the Shell Gas Station on Freedom Boulevard. Two Hispanic males in their late teens reportedly entered the business around 9:30. One of the robbers threatened the clerk with a sawed-off shotgun while the other demanded money from the register. They then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. Both men were described to be around 145 pounds and about 5’2” tall. One was wearing a grey beanie, a white long sleeve shirt, and dark pants. The other was wearing a dark-colored beanie, a dark colored long sleeve shirt and dark pants.
