(08:50) DAVENPORT – The Sempervirens Fund has received nearly a half million dollars in funding to develop a plan for the reuse of the Cemex plant property in Davenport. The grant money was sourced from the Moore Foundation, the Resources Legacy Fund and the California Coastal Conservancy. The Sempervirens Fund plans to work with the Coastal Commission to develop the reuse plan, which includes the construction of a visitor center. The agreement with Sempervirens will be discussed during a meeting of the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday. (S.G.)
