(17:43) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – The non-profit organization Santa Cruz County Parks and Friends announced a mural design contest today that will commemorate the 25th anniversary of Santa Cruz Mission State Park. The winning design will be recreated in tesserae and installed by community volunteers and students under the direction of local mural artist Kathleen Crocetti. Crocetti created murals on the Water Street, Laurel Street, and Soquel Avenue bridges. Applicants can submit their work anytime between now and 5 PM Sunday, March 27th. The winner will receive a $500 cash prize.
