(19:49) MONTEREY COUNTY: More than a third of Monterey County residents cannot afford enough food, a report released Monday by the Monterey County Department of Health stated. The study also revealed that one in four pregnant women cannot afford a healthy diet. Also, the study found black pregnant women and Hispanics to be twice as likely to be lacking enough nourishement. Experts point to costs of living in Monterey County and a dearth of health knowledge as reasons for the hunger problem.
