(16:23) SAN JOSE/MONTEREY – The case of a local marine biologist was heard in a U.S. District Court today in San Jose. Nancy Black has been sentenced to another year of probation and a 2 thousand dollar fine for violating her probation. Black, a Monterey marine biologist (and owner of Monterey Bay Whale Watch), was sentenced this time for getting too close to sea otters, but Black said she was documenting otter pup health.
