(17:45) MONTEREY/PACIFIC GROVE – A Monterey woman has been sentenced to 180 days in jail for Felony Financial Elder Abuse. “Jeannie” Quaglia stole the money from an 82 year-old Pacific Grove man she had been caring for for a number of years. Besides caring for the man for 3 years, she had been entrusted with managing his rental properties, and over that time she skimmed rent checks and overcharged for various items. Since she was already on probation for a 2013 conviction of animal abuse, she will serve an extra 60 days in jail…..adding up to a total of 240 days in custody.
