(17:53) MONTEREY – A homeless man has been sentenced to 56 years-to-life in prison for the 2015 murder of a man in Monterey. 32 year-old Jessie Devlin Quiming was convicted of the first degree murder of 40 year-old Scott Long, and the attempted murder of 23 year-old Tyler Misamore, after Long refused to share his alcohol with Quiming last June. Quiming then stabbed long, and when Misamore tried to defend long, Quiming stabbed him too. Long was declared dead at the scene, while Misamore suffered 4 stab wounds and was hospitalized.
