An incident that left a man on fire on the side of highway 101 is still being investigated, and any assistance any witnesses can render could be helpful. 40 year-old Gilroy resident Jerry Mungaray was found near the Sargent Overcrossing last Friday, and although he was transported to an area hospital, he later succumbed to his injuries. anyone with possible information on this case is encouraged to contact the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.
