A law enforcement officer convicted yesterday of a first degree rape in Washington state, was convicted in 2008 of child molestation on the central coast. Former Salinas area C.H.P. Officer Jacob Duenas was sentenced to 3 years probation here, and he was required to register as a sex offender. Duenas is scheduled to be sentenced September 28th for the Washington conviction.
