A man has been arrested for intentionally starting a fire at the Tanimura & Antle container yard near Spreckels. No people or structures were damaged in the blaze that began around 8 p.m. Friday night behind the concrete silos of the old Spreckels Sugar Factory. Salvador Contreras, who was a Tanimura & Antle employee, could face charges of arson. He was booked into Monterey county jail.
