The Matriarch of a local family is celebrating her 100th birthday today. Mamie Stagnaro has spent most of the last century in Santa Cruz….including helping her husband, and brother and sister-in-law starting and running the Stagnaro Brothers Fish Market And Restaurant. Mamie Stagnaro has 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, some of whom still run the family business that began back in 1937. About 30 family members plan to spend time with their matriarch today.
