A local surfer and artist will be showing some of his artwork this Friday. Big-wave surfer Shawn Dollar’s artwork will be part of the First Friday Art Tour. It can be viewed between 6 and 8 p.m. at 1519 Pacific Avenue. Dollar said he turned to art after he broke his neck, when he crashed into a boulder while surfing off the coast of Big Sur.
