Attorneys for jailed brain surgeon jams Kohut say he can’t get a fair trial in Santa Cruz county. The lawyers say Kohut has been constantly in the news since his May 2017 arrest. He is accused of raping children.
Separate lawsuits against 58-year-old Kohut were filed in January and claim botched operations at Dominican hospital. And again Kohut’s attorneys say he cannot get a fair trial in Santa Cruz county. He remains in jail
