KSCO Listeners can become Citizen Scientists this week by observing the highest tides of the year. Called “King Tides” they are about a foot or two higher than normal high tides.
King Tides demonstrate the likely level of sea-level rise expected to take place in the coming decades, which is why citizens are asked to take pictures to document the big tides.
