King City police are investigating a shooting that took place on Saturday. Shortly before 7 p.m. patrol units were dispatched to Mee Memorial Hospital to investigate a reorted gunshot wound. Officers attempted to interview an uncooperative victim with a non life threatening bullet wound to the leg. The incident was determined to have occurred in King City and is believed to be gang related. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact authorities.
