A King City man has been convicted for the September 2018 murder of a Salinas man. 33 year old Christopher Montoya pled no contest to fatally shooting Daniel Martinez following an altercation over a possible drug deal. Montoya is expected to order to sped 18 years behind bars when he sentenced on August 27th.
