A ribbon cutting ceremony for an drug and alcohol treatment center was held in King City on Friday. The Broadway Street facility is part of the Salinas based Sun Street Center which has been treating substance abuse for 50 years. The center is the first of its kind in King City. Until now the closet treatment options were in Salinas or on the peninsula.
