(07:55) Santa Cruz County – Caltrans will perform emergency grinding and paving operations beginning Monday on Highway 17 in Santa Cruz County. Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the southbound right lane of Highway 17 will be closed from Summit Road to Vinehill Road. Next Friday from 9:30 a-m to 2:00 p-m the southbound right lane of Highway 17 will be closed from Sims Road to Pasatiempo Drive. Motorists can expect delays of up to 30 minutes.
