(07:14) SANTA CRUZ – A man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run in Santa Cruz. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Bay Drive and High Street. Officials say a driver struck a 21-year-old UCSC student in the crosswalk then fled the scene. The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect vehicle was located shortly after. The car’s driver, 33-year-old Juan Castillo of Watsonville, was apprehended and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. (S.G.)
