(08:15) Santa Cruz – A man was arrested for DUI after he crashed into a power pole and attempted to drive his wounded passenger to a hospital yesterday. The first crash took place on Bean Creek Road, south of Morgan’s Run. The man then attempted to drive his wounded passenger to the hospital and crashed for the second time, after he took the Soquel off ramp and drove onto the center island. The driver was arrested and the passenger was transported to Valley Medical Center, where she remains in critical condition.
