(10:03) MONTEREY – A rooftop view area on Monterey Fisherman’s Wharf has re-opened. It had been closed for 5 months while the walkway and deck were restored. Although the rooftop deck is on the Big Fish Grill, and the repairs were privately funded by the owner, the observation deck at 101 Fisherman’s Wharf – Number 1…..is open to the public free of charge. Tourism is said to net the city more than 100 million dollars each year, while also providing approximately 24,000 local jobs.
