(17:18) SALINAS VALLEY – Crop values in the Salinas Valley have hit a record high for the 4th year in a row. Monterey County Agricultural Commissioner Eric Lauritzen said the 2015 Crop Production values were 4.84 billion dollars…which is up 348 million dollars from 2014. Leaf Lettuce is the top crop, followed by Strawberries. Lauritzen went on to say that Wine Grape (and Head Lettuce) crops have declined.
