(08:16) MONTEREY COUNTY – A Salinas man has been convicted of domestic violence and possession of an illegal firearm. In December 2015, 38-year-old Marco Luquin attacked his wife on two occasions, striking her in the head and grabbing her neck. In the days following the domestic abuse, police contacted Luquin and found him in possession of a firearm with an altered serial number. He faces up to a year in prison when he is sentenced July 26.
