June 27, 2016: Prunedale Man Convicted of Domestic Violence, Resisting Arrest

(07:01) MONTEREY COUNTY – A Prunedale man has been convicted of felony domestic violence and battery upon a peace officer. In February of last year, 41-year-old Robert Rogers was travelling on Highway 156 with his wife when he struck her multiple times on the head. Law enforcement officers later contacted and apprehended Rogers at a relative’s home. During his arrest, Rogers resisted and kicked a deputy. He faces up to four years and eight months in prison when he is sentenced on August 9. (S.G.)
