(18:28) CALIFORNIA COLD CASE– A 50 thousand dollar reward has been announced for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the Original Night Stalker. The cold case, of the man who committed at least 12 homicides, 45 rapes, and dozens of burglaries across California during the 1970’s and 80’s has been re-opened. In fact, he’s been linked through DNA (and other evidence) to more than 175 crimes between 1976 and 1986. Leads can be called in to 1-800-CALL-FBI. This Saturday is the 40th anniversary of his first known attack in California. It occurred in the Sacramento area. If the Original Night Stalker is still alive, he is likely to be between 60 and 75 years old. He was described at the time as white, about 5 foot 9 inches tall, and weighing 150 to 175 pounds (with blonde or light brown hair).
