(07:02) SANTA CRUZ –Santa Cruz residents are invited to attend a meeting on Wednesday to learn about PG&E’s Community Pipeline Safety Initiative. The project is aiming to repair damage to the integrity of gas pipelines across the city. As a result, leaders are proposing the removal and replacement of 38 trees, which have the potential to block safety crews from getting to pipelines in case of an emergency or natural disaster. The location of the targeted trees will be discussed during the meeting, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Police Department Community Room on Center Street. (S.G.)
