(09:15) Santa Cruz – A man facing one count of vehicular man slaughter with gross negligence will be back in court next month. 20 year-old Jacob Andrews is accused of speeding and distracted driving before the crash on October 26. 31 year-old Jack Meehan was thrown from his bike as he was riding down Soquel Drive. Andrews appeared in the Santa Cruz County Superior Court on Friday, but did not enter a plea. Andrews’ next hearing is scheduled for August 14.
