(08:01) SANTA CRUZ – Santa Cruz County health officials have posted advisories at a Santa Cruz beach due to elevated bacteria levels. Officials say water samples taken from Cowell Beach this week contained levels of bacteria unsafe for human contact. The advisories will remain posted until further notice. In the meantime, visitors are being urged to avoid swimming at the beach. (S.G.)
