(07:30) DAVENPORT – A man was hospitalized after driving off a cliff in Davenport this week. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. Tuesday near the Cemex plant off Highway 1. Officials say the man was accelerating in reverse, when he accidentally drove off the cliff and fell 100 feet. He was rescued by Cal Fire crews two hours later. The victim was transported to the hospital where he was treated for exposure and non-life-threatening injuries. (S.G.)
