(17:00) GILROY- A Gilroy councilman has dropped out of the race for the 30th district State Assembly seat. Councilman Pete Munoz announced his decision to drop out of the election on Thursday. He has endorsed Anna Caballero of Salinas who is running against Watsonville Councilwoman Karina Cervantes for the 30th State Assembly seat is currently held by Luis Alejo.
