(18:11) MARINA- A Marina couple, convicted for the 2013 death of their 19 month old child, has been sentenced. 35 year old Brandon Kenney and 33 Christina Kenney had told friends their toddler died from a tragic accident, however the coroner determined the child died from an opiate overdose. Investigators determined the death to be intentional. Both parents pled no contest to various charges. On Thursday, Brandon Kenney was sentenced to 8 years in prison, his wife was sentenced to 6 years behind bars.
