(07:30) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – Santa Cruz County officials are warning the public about a phone scam. Callers impersonating IRS agents have reportedly been calling residents and telling them they are late on paying their taxes. The victims are then threatened with arrest unless they pay with a wire transfer or a prepaid debit card. Anyone who receives a call of this nature is encouraged to report it to the Treasury Inspector General. (S.G.)
