(08:58) SALINAS – A woman was killed when she was struck by a vehicle in Salinas Monday night. The crash occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. on the 1500 block of North Main Street. Officials say the 50-year-old victim was crossing the roadway when she was hit by a 39-year-old man driving northbound. The woman was transported to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead. The incident is under investigation. (S.G.)
