(06:56) LAS LOMAS – Dozens of roosters were rescued in a cockfighting bust in Las Lomas over the weekend. The operation was discovered after law enforcement responded to a report of shots fired near Clausen Road. When deputies arrived at the scene, up to 60 people fled the area. No arrests were made. Five roosters were found dead and 39 were transported to the SPCA for Monterey County (S.G.)
