(1740) SANTA CRUZ – Community leaders and local residents celebrated the completion of the San Lorenzo River Parkway Phase II Project this weekend. The ceremony included the unveiling of 40 new led lights, a fitness equipment station, and two new seating areas between the water street and laurel street bridges. City officials believe the addition of the 16-foot lights to the pathway will diffuse safety concerns associated with the park, and that the renovations as a whole optimize its recreational value.
