(1800) SANTA CRUZ/CAPITOLA – City officials invite the public to attend a free forum about collective water management efforts this Thursday. The event, “Connecting the Drops: Working Together for Water,” will take place from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM at the New Brighton Middle School auditorium in Capitola and will address the importance of regional coordination as an effective method for conserving water resources. Guests will include local water managers as well as involved city members. California Secretary of Natural Resources and former Santa Cruz mayor John Laird will serve as the keynote speaker.
