(08:52) MONTEREY – The Monterey Bay Aquarium has plans to open an ocean education center for children. The new facility will offer science, technology, math, and engineering classes for students grades K-12. The center will also have space available for workshops, presentations, and offices. Aquarium officials are hoping an additional building will enable them to accommodate all visiting students. The facility is expected to open in 2018. (S.G.)
