(07:07) SANTA CRUZ – An event addressing veteran suicide is being held in Santa Cruz this week. During the meeting, local veterans will present a proposal titled “Journey for Change: Preventing Veteran Suicide through Community Action and Awareness”. The proposal focuses on developing policy changes at the Department of Defense, Veterans Administration and local vet centers. The event will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Santa Cruz County Health Services building. (S.G.)
