(16:50) SANTA CRUZ – The 2 people, who broke into a downtown Santa Cruz jewelry store early Saturday, are being sought. Santa Cruz police officers are reviewing video footage of the burglary. It shows the burglars smashing the glass of the backdoor of Dell Williams Jewelers around 4:30 a-m. Once inside they broke glass display cases and stole jewelry and watches. The 2 wore gloves during the break-in and their faces were covered. They were videotaped leaving the scene in a dark-colored Mercedes. Anyone with any information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Santa Cruz Police Department.
