(20:12) SANTA CRUZ – The man who opened the Circle Market on Santa Cruz’s Westside in 1986, is remembered for being a kind and caring man. 55 year-old Sang Duk Ahn, who ran the store 14 hours a day, 365 days a year, was known for having an unrivaled work ethic, but also for giving bags of free groceries to people in need. He was diagnosed with liver cancer in November, and died January 4th. The service for him was held over the weekend. He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, and a son. A GoFundMe account has been set up to help pay for Ahn’s Memorial, and also for a memorial bench in his honor. It is: GoFundMe.com/sangahn
