(9:09) SALINAS- A Monterey county judge sentenced a Salinas area transient to 10 years in prison on Friday. 36 year old Richard Rocha was convicted for the February 2015 incident in which he stole a vehicle and led police in a high speed pursuit until crashing and attempting to flee on foot. Rocha was also convicted for failure to register as a sex offender, stemming from a 1998 child molestation conviction.
