Doc tells the audience they should contact their Congressmen and women and urge them to have their states start licensing naturopathic doctors. Researchers looked at 190 diagnostic errors made during primary care visits. Find thirty six resulted in permanent damage to patients and 27 patients died.

Dr. Wallach discusses his book "Immortality" and why some countries have many more centinarians than in the U.S. Outlining how these countries are usually third world countries where there's no medical care. The people are poor so generally don't eat more than 900 calories daily. They also burn wood to heat and cook and then put the wood ash in their gardens thus getting minerals in their food.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article concerning the benefits of eating avocados daily. As part of the "National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey" researchers looked at data from this study of over 17,000 Americanss ages 19 and older. Find those who ate at least half a medium avocado daily had high levels of HDL, lower risk of metabolic syndrome, lower BMI (body mass index) and waist circumference.

Citing rheumatoid arthritis as one example and outlining it's cause as being a the bacteria mycoplasma. Contending that the bug can be killed and the damage to joints reversed through proper nutritional supplementation.

The researchers found that an estimated 4.5 million patient visits to doctor's offices were due to adverse events involving prescribed medications. Dr. Wallach starts the show discussing arthritis and how it is predicted to become an epidemic among "baby boomers". Citing a Harvard study that contends joint replacement surgery for pain is a useless procedure. Doc explains how joint replacement surgery often requires repeat replacement surgery. Asserting that joints, ligaments and tendons can be rebuilt through nutritonal supplementation so the surgery isn't necessary.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news story regarding a study of hip replacement patients. Researchers looked at over 35,000 surgeries at 46 hospitals finding that women were 29% more likely to have a repeat surgery with three years. Overall repeat surgeries within three years 2.3% of women need repeat surgeries while repeats for men is at 1.9%. Doc again cites the Harvard study that found surgery for joint pain is useless because the replacement does not address the root cause of joint failure.

Asserting that inflammation can cause coronary artery disease. Contending clots can cause stroke or thrombotic coronary artery disease. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy which he believes is a selenium deficiency. Finally he discusses congestive heart disease caused by a vitamin deficiency.

This mesh is inserted in women with pelvic organ prolapse a condition where muscles weaken and causing organs to bulge or slip down into the vagina. Women are suing the manufacturors contending they weren't warned about possible complications that leave the women in pain. The next article discussed concerns a report that analyzed 24 previous studies finding that eating "high-glycemic" foods increases the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
