Balloons mark hotel 10/07/12 9:30p.m. TDH
Balloons were strung up this weekend above pacific grove’s Holman block. The balloons were put up to display the height of a hotel that has been proposed for the sight. The hotel’s developer agreed to put up the markers as a way to give concerned residents an idea of how high the building would be. At it’s tallest point, the proposed hotel would reach 71-feet. But, that would require voters to approve a re-zoning measure this November. The balloons are expected to come down monday.
