A starving, and injured, husky mix (and her human) are being sought. That after her human grabbed her and another dog; and ran from S.P.C.A. officers in Salinas. The Husky-Akita mix had given birth to 8 puppies just a few days before, and they (and the mother) appeared to need veterinary care. The officers found the puppies sleeping on a cold wet carpet under a camper shell (that was in a yard with all kinds of debris, including sharp objects and hazardous chemicals). Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the mother dog, is encouraged to contact the S.P.C.A. For Monterey County.
