2 salinas men have been sentenced for their part in human trafficking. Abriam Ibarra and Daniel Amaro were arrested (with 2 other men) back in February of 2018, on sex trafficking charges. That after a total of 8 girls (aged 14 to 18 years-old) were found to be exploited by the 4 men. Amaro was sentenced to spend 14 years behind bars, while Ibarra (who additionally was found guilty of having sex with minors) was sentenced to spend 20 years in prison. The other 2 men are scheduled to go to trial on this case next month.
