A Hollister man was arrested after he attempted to evade police. A patrol vehicle attempted a traffic stop of 20 year old Daniel Perez. Perez continued driving to the 200 block of Sally Street where he fled on foot. An officer gave gave chase and after a physical altercation subdued Perez. A search of the area turned up a loaded pistol. Perez was booked into San Benito County Jail on multiple felony charges.
