A Hollister man tried to flee from police officers earlier this month, but was caught. Although 35 year-old Adam Mendoza was throwing things as he fled from officers, he still had a large amount of cash, brass knuckles, and suspected methamphetamine on him when he was caught. Mendoza was booked into San Benito County Jail.
