A historic boat is slated to be restored. The 77-foot long wooden purse seiner Western Flyer will be worked on in Port Townsend Washington. The Western Flyer was used by John Steinbeck and marine biologist Ed Ricketts to get them to the Sea Of Cortez (back in 1940).
