No fireworks or alcohol on State Park lands. That’s in an effort to keep the chance of wildfire minimized during the High Wildfire Danger time period between now and the Fall. Last year, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office received 282 calls (across several days surrounding the July 4th holiday)…..of which 130 were firework related, and a number of others were for open-containers and/or public intoxication. State Park Rangers will also be patrolling beaches throughout Santa Cruz county….and Triple Fines are in place in some areas of the county.
